Information we process

• Consent preference: the bb_cookie_consent cookie records whether all optional cookies, analytics only, or no optional cookies were selected.
• Analytics information: if analytics-only or all optional cookies are allowed, Google Analytics may process usage events, browser and device details, referring pages, and approximate location information.
• Technical information: hosting and security providers may process standard request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamps, and necessary security identifiers to deliver the site, detect automated traffic, and protect it from abuse.
• Communications: if you email us, we process your address, message, and any information you choose to include.
• Comments: if you submit a comment, we store the nickname, comment text, relevant game page, publication status, and submission date. The nickname, text, and publication date are displayed publicly immediately after a successful submission.
• Abuse prevention: when a comment is submitted, we create a daily rotating keyed hash from the request’s network address, purpose, and date. The public comment record does not contain that key, and the comments table does not store a plaintext IP address. A server-side secret prevents the hash from being reproduced from public data.
• Comment reports: if you report a public comment, we store the comment identifier, game page, selected reason, report status, date, and a daily rotating keyed reporter hash used to prevent duplicate reports. Three distinct report hashes for the same comment during one UTC day automatically hide that comment. Reports are not displayed publicly.
• Third-party media and games: provider-hosted cover art or guide images may receive standard network and browser request information when a page displays them. Basketball Bros connects to its provider automatically on the homepage; other catalog games connect after you press Play. A provider may receive additional network and device information under its own policy.

Why information is processed

We process information to deliver and secure the website, store and immediately publish submitted comments, limit automated or repeated submissions, handle reports and removal requests, remember privacy choices, measure and improve site use when consent is given, respond to requests, and comply with applicable obligations.

Depending on location and context, the relevant basis may include consent, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, responding to a request, or compliance with law.

Google Analytics and advertising choices

Google Analytics properties G-3ERT09XBQ3 and G-SQXB5E6VXV load only after analytics-only or all optional cookies are accepted. Analytics-only keeps ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, Google Signals, and advertising-personalization signals denied. Accept all permits those Google advertising signals for first-party ad tags.

This website does not currently load an AdSense ad script. A Google-certified European regulations message is already published for this domain in AdSense Privacy & messaging and will be re-tested before first-party Google ads are activated. Embedded games may display advertising under their own providers’ policies. Publishing an ads.txt file does not by itself set cookies or activate advertising.

Service providers and retention

Information may be processed by website hosting, infrastructure, and security providers; provider image hosts when external cover or guide media is displayed; Google Analytics after consent; a third-party game provider when its game runtime opens automatically on the homepage or after Play on another catalog page; and advisers or authorities when legally required.

Submitted comments are published immediately and remain stored until they are deleted. Hidden comments are no longer displayed publicly. We may hide or delete comments that violate our Terms or Community Guidelines, expose personal information, create safety or security concerns, or must be removed by law.

Rate-limit hashes rotate daily. Rate-limit records older than 48 hours are removed during subsequent comment submissions; they are not used to build public profiles.

Pending comment reports are retained while they are handled and for a reasonable period needed to document the response and prevent repeated abuse. Reporter hashes are keyed, rotate daily, and are counted only within the current UTC day for automatic hiding.

The consent cookie lasts for up to one year. Analytics, communications, and other technical records are retained according to operational settings and only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above or legal requirements.

Your choices and rights

You can change or withdraw optional-cookie consent through Cookie Settings and can also clear site data through your browser. Rejecting optional cookies stops future optional analytics loading under that choice and removes accessible optional Google cookies from this domain.

You can report an inappropriate comment or ask about a comment you submitted through the Contact page. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent. Rights are subject to applicable law and reasonable identity verification.

Children, security, and changes

We do not ask visitors to create profiles or submit their age. If we learn that information from a child was collected in circumstances requiring parental consent, we will assess the matter and take action required by law.

We use reasonable measures to protect the site, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Providers may process information in other countries. Material policy changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
