Start with an authorized device and network

Keep a simple Chromebook test log

Use one row per trial: date, ChromeOS version, network, other tabs, mode, load-time estimate, input delay, stutter, and the single change since the prior trial.

After three comparable trials, look for a pattern. Success on a personal connection but not a managed network points toward policy or network configuration; stutter only with many tabs points toward reducing concurrent work.

Know what this checklist cannot guarantee

Games and hosting can change without notice. A working setup may behave differently after an update, while one failure does not make every Chromebook unsupported.

Use live prompts, maintain ChromeOS normally, and repeat the same short test after a change. There is no universal “unblock” switch.
